We celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday yesterday. The kids had a great time trying to decide what apple they liked best. Here is a graph showing which one we decided. Honey Crisp, Gala, Golden Delicious, Macintosh. We also painted apples and read 10 Apples Up On Top. The students made a class book based off the book.

Blue Day
On Friday, we learned about the color blue. I read Rainbow Fish and the BIG BLUE whale. Then, we made rainbow fish in Art. Students also completed a blue book, taste tested blueberries and filled in a yes/no graph about how they felt about blueberries. Students could ONLY play with blue blocks after they finished their snack. Here are some pictures from the day!
