Construction Week

We had so much fun during construction week!  Look at what we built!  Students made tools belts, painted new benches for our classroom and built new things during choice time.

Mr. Risner built benches for the kids to paint.

Mr. Risner even helped us paint.

Animals

We learned many things about animals.  We compared the outercoverings of animals, how they move, matched babies with mothers and talked about why animals live in some areas of the world and not others.  We also learned about migrating, hibernating and animal adaptations.

Students worked on murals to show how animals get ready for the winter.

During B week, we created butterflies (that migrate), bears
(who hibernate) and bunnies (that adapt.)
We created art from torn paper.  The kids worked really hard and the final product was adorable.

Christmas Party

We played BINGO

We listened to a holiday book by Jan Brett.
We love her!

We had fun at our holiday party.  I ordered
ornaments from Oriental Trading for the
kids to make.  We also played BINGO and
ate yummy nacho plates.  I am sorry for the
delayed post.  I had to borrow some pictures
for the page. (Thank you!)
