Valentine's Day

My students voted on what they wanted to do for our Valentine's Day party.  They came up with pizza/cupcakes for food.  They decided to share one toy with their friends for our activity.  It was a wonderful party.

Special Notes

Dear Parents,

Valentine's Day, Mid Winter break, Conferences, and Dr. Seuss' birthday is coming up.  March is reading month and Madison Elementary has many wonderful events planned.  Please remember to check the newsletter every Monday.  Also, please remember to practice the letter and sight words for the week.  I am so excited about all the learning that is happening and I look forward to sharing it with you at conferences.

Homecoming

On Friday, we celebrated Homecoming! 

 
 

Snowmen

Our lifeskill this week:  Resourcefulness 
We learned about how we can use supplies in different ways.  After reading Snowballs, the kids made snowmen out of recycled materials.
